1. Article: 4 Big Ideas to improve your Sprint Review - Robert Briese

To the article

"Is your team or product group (if you develop products with multiple teams) always in line with what to work on next in order to maximize delivered value? Does everyone involved in product creation and delivery have a deep understanding of what worked in past Sprints and what had the biggest impact on the company’s success?
If not, look at how you’re doing your Sprint Reviews and make the necessary changes!

Here are my top 4 suggestions regarding the Sprint Review:

  1. Get real customers and/or end-users involved in the Sprint Review.
  2. Have the Product Owner (or someone supporting) provide insights about how the product performs, existing timelines, budgets, and marketplace opportunities to maximize any learning about the impact a product has.
  3. Let customers and/or end-users experience the features of the product that the team implemented as much as possible hands-on.
  4. Give every participant a chance to actively collaborate on how to adapt the Product Backlog to reflect feedback and work on what’s most important next (with the Product Owner having the final say)."

2. Tambo: We are looking for beta testers!

Register for beta

Are you looking for an icebreaker game to play with your team? Do you want to add some fun at the beginning of your meetings? Tambo is a game developed by us, Lean Sherpas, designed to bond teams together, by playfully making them empathize with the ideas and views of their team members. By playing the game at the beginning of your Product Backlog Refinement workshop, you stimulate your participants to get into the right mindset and think outside the box!

Since we are still in the development phase of the game, we are looking for beta testers, who give us critiques on their user experience.

For now, we only share the game with a small group of beta testers. If you want to be part of this selective group, get your hands on the game before it’s publicly announced, and also help us improve it, register via the button below.
