Product Developers Practices: Learn scaled agility where it actually happens, in the code and in the team
Five days of hands-on product development with Large-Scale Scrum, technical excellence and genuine team dynamics. Led by Terry Yin, you build a real product and learn how to use AI effectively without handing over human judgment. That is exactly what gives you the decisive edge in the product development of tomorrow.

Brief description
Product Developers Practices (LeSS in Action) is a five-day hands-on training that teaches scaled agility where it truly counts: in collaborative product development. Following the "70% hands-on, 30% theory" principle, participants work on a real product and combine Large-Scale Scrum, technical excellence and authentic teamwork. The guiding idea: organizational agility is constrained by technical agility.
Highlights:
70% hands-on on a real product, only 30% theory
Master AI-augmented development, with TDD as the quality mechanism
Apply technical practices such as TDD, CI/CD, A-TDD and refactoring
Large-Scale Scrum, technical excellence and team dynamics combined
Focused work with legacy code, Product Backlog Refinement & DoD
Scaled agility meets technical excellence and AI
The ability to deliver customer value in ever shorter cycles depends not only on good organization, but above all on technical strength. This is exactly where LeSS in Action comes in: organizational agility is constrained by technical agility. Anyone who wants to deliver fast and sustainably at scale has to master both. And more and more often, the confident use of AI makes the difference too.
In this training, participants work on a real product (the Doughnut web service) following the "70% hands-on, 30% theory" principle. They experience Large-Scale Scrum not as theory, but in the daily collaboration of multiple teams. In doing so, they combine three focus areas: Large-Scale Scrum practices, technical excellence and genuine team dynamics.
A particular focus lies on modern, AI-augmented product development. Participants learn to use AI tools effectively without giving up human judgment and accountability. Test-Driven Development serves as the quality mechanism for AI-generated code, and targeted refactoring creates the clarity that demands less context from both humans and AI.
The work is done with a real technology stack: Cursor IDE with AI models, a VueJS 3 frontend (TypeScript), a Spring Boot backend (Java, MySQL), Cypress for end-to-end testing, GitHub Actions for CI/CD and a production environment on Google Cloud.
Agenda:
Day 1:
Understanding people, problems, and the Product Backlog
Day 2:
TDD, AI, and fast learning loops
Day 3:
Refactoring, feedback, and knowledge preservation
Day 4:
Design principles, feature teams & integration at scaling level
Day 5:
Legacy code, adoption, and sustainable developer capability
